Hong Kong Ocean Park

Went to the Hong Kong Ocean Park (海洋公园) during one of the days back in Hong Kong.
The place is very huge and we do not have enough time to walk through all the places even though we went there quite early.

Enjoy the pictures!

It was quite cold and windy that day.

The fair looks totally like in the cartoons! So cartoon-ish

Love the way they design this place!

Definitely do check out this place!
The tickets are quite expensive (should be around SGD70-80 per person) but I would say it is quite worth it.
They have a few rides that are for adults so don't worry if you're not an ocean-lover person. They have quite a few scary rides for you to try!
I would recommend you to travel there early as the place is really too big to explore within a day!

Do check out our video in Hong Kong done by Leon Lim!

Atlas Medical by Dr SM Yuen: Revlite Laser Toning 4

Had my forth laser treatment at Atlas Medical Clinic last week.
Had my face cleansed and wait for Dr SM Yuen to proceed with the laser treatment.

Dr SM Yuen is very friendly and patient whenever I have some questions regarding the treatment or any concerns I have for my skin, etc. He is always there to answer all my queries.

After a few treatments, my skin got used to the pain so it does not really hurt much.
The first time it hurt a little, like an ant bite, but now it is like a tingling sensation.

The laser treatment took about 15-20 minutes and the beautician applied sunscreen and moisturizer on my skin.
Here is the after photo.

I think my skin got used to the heat so there is not much redness this time round.

Slowly after each session I can see some difference on my skin.
My skin is much brighter, skin tone is more even and my blemishes are lighter with the help of the medicated creams from Atlas Medical as well.

Stay tune for my next update!

Artistry Hair Professional: Reddish Brown Hair Color by Jerry Chua

Have been really lazy these few months and my hairstylist Jerry Chua, from Artistry Hair Professional ordered me to go back and get my hair done! Haha.

Here's a photo of the previous hair color I did.
Mocha Brown Hair Color, link below for the previous post.

It was a darker shade of brown as I wanted to let my hair rest but it faded off rather quickly as I had bleached my hair before.

Here's the color after two months.

My hair is naturally wavy which I don't really like.
Maybe I'll get a DYNA Straightening Treatment done next month! Remember to follow back~

Close up.

Jerry suggest to do a reddish brown color because my hair color would not look so yellowish after it fades off due to the red tone underneath.

I got my roots touched up as well.
Took about one and a half hour to dye my hair and next step is for ABC Hair Treatment!
I look like a sheep here!

ABC 3-Step Treatment is one of the best treatment to treat your hair!
The treatment is able to penetrate deep into the hair follicles and lock in moisture to maintain healthier looking hair!

More details of the ABC Treatment can be found below:

Overall treatment and dye took about 2 hours and here are the results!

There is only a slight hint of red in the color so it is suitable for office ladies as well.

Vitamin C Facial Treatment & Revlite Laser Toning - Atlas Medical Clinic

Went back to Atlas Medispa for my second Vitamin C Facial Treatment.

Just a little tour around the clinic.
Atlas Medispa is mainly used for facial and body treatments.
It used to be their old clinic before they move over to the 24th level.

Consultation Room

Certificates awarded to Dr. SM Yuen and Atlas Medical

Some of their products.

Got my face cleansed and changed into a tube robe as they will be doing a shoulder massage.

For more details of the Vitamin C Facial Treatment that I did, click the link below:

The whole treatment took around an hour and the shoulder massage is great!
I almost fell asleep during the treatment.

My bare face after the facial treatment.
My skins looks brighter and more even tone. There is no redness after the treatment.

I head over to the 24th level to get my laser done after my facial treatment.

It did leave some redness due to the heat but it went off after awhile.

Trip to Hong Kong: Part 1.

Back in February I went for a trip to Hong Kong for a private event with Mr. Ming and friends.
This post will be mainly about Food and I'll separate another post for activities.
(Okay, I know it's really outdated, but.. yeah~ ;P)

We took a really early flight and took a bus from the airport to somewhere near our hotel.
The weird thing about Hong Kong is their train service is really expensive and long to travel to our hotel and taxis don't usually cross the sea so we took a bus instead.

After we alighted we thought we could walk there since the maps said so but NO! It took us so long and we're lugging our luggage through the uneven roads. Lol.

While walking, Mr Ming spotted a old Hong Kong Tea House that was used to film one of the old Hong Kong drama so we decided to stop by for breakfast.

Don't they look delicious?!
Even in winter, their egg tarts are always served hot and the crust are cripsy! One of the best egg tarts I've eaten.

Was so stupid that day because I did not insert a memory card into my camera so these pictures are taken from Fidelis. :P
We ate there twice so I'm gonna put it all together.

Hong Kong Milk Tea.
The best that I've tried because the taste of the tea is very rich and yummy! Totally missed the taste of it ):

The Legendary Bo Lo You (Or Bo Lo Bao/Bun)
It's so yummy and Singapore's Bo Lo You can't even compare!
The second time we ate this we asked them to add in egg.
So yummyyyyyy!!

We thought Hong Kong Tea House would sell those fried maggie noodles so we asked them and they say they don't, BUT they still made it for us!
This is a little salty but still really yummy!

We filled our stomachs to the fullest and headed to our Hotel to check-in.
We stayed at Dorsett Mongkok.

Good thing is the hotel provide each room with a cell phone that is able to call to certain countries for free. The hotel don't provide Wi-fi but you can connect it through the phone's hotspot.
Bad thing is, as you can see, it is really small ): There is no bathtub and the whole room is just so small.

Second day's breakfast was simple.
You tiao (Oil sticks) and Soya Milk. The You tiao are very crispy and yummy!
We had this almost everyday when we had our event because it was near our hotel and we had to rush over for our event early in the morning. Haha~
Their food is best to be eaten at the restaurant because we try to pack it and the soya milk had a little weird taste.

Abalone noodle. Kind of plain so I don't really like it.

Third day's breakfast was at a nearby mall. We had to choose between a cheaper dimsum restaurant and a slightly more expensive one. Guess what? We chose the expensive one and it was a really bad choice!!

We ordered a lot, more than what we could eat as you can see because we were given a list to tick so we accidentally tick too much. Kind of regretted it because it wasn't nice and it was expensive!
So we've come to a conclusion that expensive food may not be necessarily nice~ *remember*

One of our dinner was at Itacho Sushi.

Itacho Sushi Restaurant is also available in Singapore but in Hong Kong there is more variety of sushi available.

Before I end off, I tried out Honey Granny Ice cream!

Looks similar to Honey Creme in Singapore but this is so yummy!
It has a very rich milky taste which is my favourite and is 100 times better than Honey Creme.
Honey Creme has a weird metal taste and I think McDonald's Ice Cream taste even better.
Definitely try this out (It's in Mongkok, but I can't remember the exact place)

Till then~
