Vitamin C Facial Treatment at Atlas Medispa

Hey everyone!
Visited Atlas Medispa for my facial treatment appointment.
Atlas Medispa used to be the old Atlas Medical clinic, and they shifted to a new office.

*Atlas Medispa is located at the 13th floor,
*Atlas Medical Clinic is now located at the 24th floor.

Now, Atlas Medispa is used mainly for facial and body treatments.
Some body treatments include slimming & anti-cellulite treatments and hair removal treatments

I will be doing the Vitamin C Hydro Lightening Facial Treatment.
It uses medical grade Vitamin C enriched serum to treat pigmentation and lightening of dull skin.

First they use a tool with a flat metal tip to gently scrap off the dead skin cells.
This technique is much gentler than using silk peel as silk peel is more like a suction tool that sucks out impurities hidden in our pores while exfoliating the skin at the same time. Some people with sensitive skin would prefer the first method better.

By removing the dead skin cells, it helps to prep the skin to absorb the nutrients better.
Oh and this doesn't hurt at all.

Next was Vitamin C Treatment
I was asked to hold this metal thing so that the electrons can flow through the body.

The therapist applied the Vitamin C serum to my skin using the tool shown above. This helps the serum to better penetrate into the skin.
It has a little tingling sensation at certain areas but it is still bearable for me.

There are many benefits of Vitamin C for the skin. It is anti-oxidant that helps the skin to prevent free radicals. Vitamin C also reduce pigmentation, lightens the skin and improve overall skin texture.

Third step was to apply Aloe Vera gel to calm the skin and followed by a relaxing mask.
I was feeling so comfortable that I fell asleep while doing the mask!

Here are some pictures taken after the treatment.
Bare face after the treatment.

Overall the treatment took about an hour.
My skin felt so smooth and a lot brighter. I felt so refreshed after the treatment.
The treatment also helped to lighten some of my freckles too. :)

After the treatment, I head over to the Medical Clinic at the 24th floor to look for Dr. SM Yuen for my laser treatment.
The laser treatment took about 15-20 minutes.
Here is an after photo. There is slight redness on certain areas that are more sensitive (near the brows) but it went off after awhile.

After just two sessions, my skin have improved as my skin is not as dull as before and my skin is much brighter/lighter as well.

Few more pictures.

Oriole Cafe & Bar

It was late lunch so we ate a little at Oriole Cafe & Bar located at 313 Somerset
Another place found through Burpple App and because they sell waffles here too!
As you know, I really love waffles and I have high expectation for it.

It must not be chewy, which means that it is kind of under cooked.
It should be at least a little crispy at the side and best if it's buttermilk waffles.

So anyway since I wasn't hungry so I ordered waffles only since it's carbs and makes me full.

Bf Ming ordered Risotto.

Ordered truffle fries for sides.

It took quite a while before the food comes and the food are bad ):
The waffles is totally (or TOO) chewy but doesn't taste bad so I still managed to eat two of it.
There are nuts at the side which I have no idea what nuts are those because it taste literally like powdered sugar. Too much of it.

Risotto is bad too. Taste so weird like mushroom mixed with some weird smelly ingredients. Haha.
Can't really describe the taste though. Bf ate less than half and gave up.

Truffle fries was fine but doesn't have much truffle taste. Could be better if they add some cheese on top.

My verdict? No. Will never visit them again.
