The New Braun Silk-epil 7 SkinSpa

Hi everyone!

Don't you think it is very difficult to maintain smooth skin and being "hairless"?
Some of you girls out there might be guilty of not shaving your underarms by wearing tee shirts to cover them up!

Anyway, I was being sponsored the New Braun Silk-epil 7 SkinSpa to try and review on it.
It is an epilator + exfoliator which is suitable for men and women!

Silk-epil 7 SkinSpa is an Epilation & Sonic Exfoliation System that is suitable for wet and dry usage.

It comes with 5 different caps for different purposes that is suitable for legs, body as well as face!

*there's a shaver which I think it's more suitable for guys*

For the epilator head, it uses Close-grip technology; with 40 Close-grip tweezers to remove the shorter hairs which is as small as a grain of sand, or 0.5mm. It also has a pivoting head that is able to move forward and backward to adapt to the contours of your skin.

The purplish rollers at the sides helps stimulate skin and reduce pain sensation.

As for the exfoliation brush, it operates at over 3,000 micro-vibrators per minute to remove dead skin cells which is 4 times better than manual scrub alone.
Oh and there's a smartlight for you see if there are any remaining hair that needs to be removed.

So now, here's my review.
I find that it really does remove even very fine and tiny hairs that it not that visible on the eye. I tried on my underarm and surprisingly almost all the hairs did come out. It feel a little painful at first but after a few times it doesn't really hurt. Oh and I think the massage rollers does reduce the pain but if I go over the same area of the skin too much it might get a little irritated.

You can see at the bottom there are some tiny dust looking thingy which is actually the super fine hair (if you can see it)

Oh and I like the design too! It comes with shimmery crystals and it's so pretty!
It is easily detachable by pulling out the caps to change to a different one and easy to watch by just rinsing it with water or using the given small brush to swipe off the hairs.

The epilator is very easy to use, it comes with 2 different settings which I personally like the II one as it helps to epilate better. The instruction manual does explains well on how you should use it too.

As for the exfoliation part, I feel that even if I put the settings at I, it is still a little too sensitive for my skin. It would be better if there are two different brush head, one with softer bristles for more sensitive skin and another one for normal skin.

Overall I am still quite satisfied with the product because it kind of adds in to my daily skincare regime.
I do not have to spend so much time looking it the mirrors to pluck out unsightly armpits hair (hahaha!) or using wax which can get really messy and I can use it for my face too!
It's definitely a must buy product for all ladies (:
