Review: Glomax Aesthetics

I was invited by Glomax Aesthetics to try out one of their facial treatments.
I was very excited to try it out because I have oily skin so I tend to breakout (sometimes a lot).
Therefore I go for facial treatments regularly to clear my skin (:

Glomax Aesthetics was located at Soho 2, a few minutes walk away from Clarke Quay MRT Station which is quite a convenient location.

When I first reach the place, the place was relatively small.

First, I was consulted by a beautician, Sun.
She was very friendly and patiently listening to what I wanted to say and also gave me suggestions on what I could do to help my skin. She kept emphasizing the importance of using sunscreen which I did not do it because it was quite oily for my skin. Sun also taught me what kind of products I should use for my skin and for whichever skin I am, sunscreen is a MUST because the UV rays from the sun can damage our skin which we could not see it right now.

For my skin, I had a few breakout on my forehead and it's very huge.
I got it about two days ago. Lol (Photo below)

Ha-ha I'm finally revealing my naked face.

As you can see, I have a few breakouts and also minor scaring (which look like freckles) on my forehead and cheeks due to acne.
Therefore I usually cover it up with cosmetics because I feel more confident when I cover up my flaws.
I'm not born with good skin, so I would go for facials regularly (:

After the consultation, I then proceed to get changed and ready for my facial.

Here's the room I'll be doing my facial treatment ^^

It looks really comfy. Hehe

Firstly, I did diamond microdermabrasion to remove my dead skin cells.
It also helps to suck out all the dirts and dead skin cells on my face.

This is very gentle on my skin and my skin does feel brighter when she showed me half of my face being done while the other is not. It also helps to remove dead skin from areas where normal facial scrub might not be able to remove like my eye areas (yes, it is really gentle to be used on the eyes), sides of my nose and area around my mouth.

After that, she then proceed to Sonic cleansing, where a "scrapper" is used to scrap off the excess oil and impurities left on the skin.

Please ignore my camera strap as I couldn't see -_-lll

Next, we proceed to extraction. I think this does not need much explanation.
I would say that it was not done that badly but can be improved especially because some parts of the extraction was not done properly, so I had a few scars from blood clogging inside the skin mostly for the huge pimples.

After extraction, she used this (below) to zap my skin to prevent inflammation.

Normally, those transparent glass ones were used. I really felt the pain when this was used to zap my face.

She then applied a gel on my face and this thing below (sorry I couldn't remember the name) to let the gel fully absorbed to my skin.

Lastly, I had black charcoal mask with green tea extract and lime.
It contains vitamin C and anti-oxidants which helps to calm my skin, treat my skin from all the UV radiation, etc.
Good thing is that it smells great. It has a really strong lime smell which I like. Hehe

Look at the mask. It looks funny. Haha

Overall I would say that I would recommend that you go and try out their treatments.
However, I am not really sure about the extraction part because for me, I think it is most important for the beautician to do it correctly as it might affect the skin which nobody would wants it.
So I wouldn't really recommend that.

I would like to thank Hazel for inviting me (on behalf of Glomax Aesthetic) to try out their facial treatments. ^^

A simple weekend

I'll start with a few vain pictures of me :X
Oh and it's taken by iPhone 5 front camera (not mine) with some editing.
The front camera is so clear that I can even see my pimples! Hahahaha

I like taking bright pictures because it can cancel out my flaws. Hahaha

This is taken by iPhone 4s. See the difference? This is not as clear.
And look at my mouth! It's slanted omg. LOL

Recently I have been searching for any nice food around at affordable prices by reading some reviews from food bloggers since my internship salary is making me eat grasses ):

Last Saturday, Mr. Ming and I went out to eat at one of the restaurants, Yayoiken at Bugis + after reading the reviews.
I expected it to be nice but actually it turn out to be.. hmm..
I think Sushi Tei is much nicer (the price range are around the same). So disappointed. D:

Bought Gela.... (it's not gelato) ice cream after lunch.
I thought it was quite small so I bought the biggest cup and I couldn't finish it in the end -_-

We walked around the mall for awhile before heading back to Ming's house to play with Brownie!
It's been awhile since I saw him.
Tadaa~ Isn't he cute? Hehe
He doesn't like to pose in front of the camera ):
He had his last vaccination last Friday and became super active running and jumping non-stop.
Kenneth and Sandra came to look for us and we had dinner at Bukit Timah while Ming went for his darts competition.
Had curry fish head with a few other dishes! Yummy~
After dinner we looked for places for desserts and went to West Coast (can't remember the shop name)
It was located at West Coast Drive.
I had brownie with green tea ice cream!
Ok I took a bite and took this photo :X
The green tea ice cream taste a little weird but the brownie was nice!

So we slacked around till 9pm and went home!

Life's been so bored ever since my internship started.
I'm SO looking forward to my Taiwan trip after my internship!!
And yes I went this year March too, but this time I'm going with my bf and friends! Yay!

I have never been overseas with my friends before, only with the school, my parents and for work.
Excluding trips to JB since it's so near. Haha.

Yup yup.
See you!

Malaysia Cup

Good Morning all!
It's 9.22am now and I'm currently in the office.
To make myself awake, I decided to blog so that I will not fall asleep.

I'm now waiting for my supervisor to give me task to do.
Actually he did but was not finalized so I can't do it so I have really nothing to do at the moment.

Anyway, did anyone went to watch Malaysia Cup yesterday?
It was more crowded as compared to the previous matches and the security was quite tight.
FYI, the match was between LionXII and Pahang FA and the results was 2-0!
Which means, Singapore won!

I think the news would hit the sports news headline today and more matches will be coming up! ^.^
I was not a fan of soccer but I find it quite fun to watch them kick especially when the ball almost go hit into the goalpost. I shall not comment on any teams about how good/bad they played but I think the goal keeper did quite a good job in catching the ball. Hahaha.

I left halfway through the match as it was pretty late and I had work tomorrow.
(I'm actually involved in the event and not going there to watch soccer haha)

After the first half of the match, I went to the nearby coffee shop to buy the delicious wanton mee for dinner + supper and went home. :P

So that's about it.
